I think Betty Butterfield is absolutely brilliant. Her Methodist observations are particularly astute. These are all hilarious, moreso because Betty is a kind of archetype. Cheers.

Chuck is amazing. His character is flawless! My brother and I were forced to attend a Church of God and Betty is bang on! I especially love the Doral 100s and the Holy Ghost. Speakin' in tongues and wheezin'. Watch them all, google Betty Butterfield and just enjoy the laugh. But what really got me was that there are women like her in Tennessee. One being my Aunt Shiela! Oh my God!
